Position Details: Contract position, Full-time equivalent (37.5 hrs/wk)

The Healthy Start / Départ Santé is a provincial and bilingual initiative, funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada, whose goal is to increase opportunity for regular physical activity and healthy eating in early years settings throughout Saskatchewan and in New Brunswick. The project includes evidenced-based findings to measure the impact of the Healthy Start program. The Healthy Start evaluation component, includes both outcome and process assessments to determine the overall impact of the Healthy Start intervention, as well as to evaluate what works best in enabling early learning centres to increase physical activity and healthy eating in the daily lives of young children (specifically 3 to 5 years of age). It also consists of a Social return on investment study.
The coordinator will report to the Principal investigator in collaboration with the Project Manager, the Evaluation Committee and is accountable to the RSFS (lead organization). The coordinator will engage and collaborate with the Evaluation Team to implement the annual Healthy Start Evaluation plan and responsible for the following:
